TRAINING PROGRAMMES
A.R.C. Consultants believe that; increasing awareness, the development of preventative measures and the implementation of effective monitoring systems are amongst the essential tools required, for both identifying and eliminating discrimination in the workplace. Our training programmes aim to make you listen when we are with you and think when we are gone. This we achieve through:

ORGANISATIONAL NEEDS ASSESSMENT We conduct comprehensive and confidential internal assessments, in order to define current or potential issues relating to equal opportunities. These may also include advice on widening access in regards to the recruitment, retention and progression opportunities for under-represented groups.

SERVICE REVIEWS These provide an in-depth examination of how a service is performing. Such reviews explore attitudes towards current processes, practice and the impact of service delivery. They enable organisations to explore whether their management practices are in line with the law, and more importantly whether the behaviour of the people they manage, infringe the rights and quality of service provided to customers, employees and members of the general public.

MEDIATION SERVICES ARC Consultancy Ltd. act as an impartial third party, working to assist the participants to reach a voluntary and informed settlement. Providing a problem solving approach to disputes, our mediators actively listen to all parties and then try to fairly and creatively formulate the issues to offer solutions to fit the parties needs. Through discussions our mediator aims to achieve a win-win outcome by trying to resolve the differences. The mediator is a facilitator but not the final decision-maker. Our aim is to mediate in an informal, co-operative context, where the parties fully and efficiently discuss settlements, thereby avoiding escalating the conflict into litigation, by reaching a consensual decision.
